A bit of blues to test out some acoustic profiles i got for the kemper £7 well spent just me the Gibson and a telephone vioce plug in and a bit of fiddling ....Thanks for listening
Like you never thought we could escape
the wild wild wood
Like you thought we could never escape
the wild wild wood
Climbing up for ever, trying seeking the way  out of the wild wild wood

In the shadow of the sun
 shadow of the sun
We chased our dreams across the fields of oh so much fun
In the shadow
In the shadow
In the shadow
 of the sun

We had so much fun

Standing dying, in the back yard
A hundred lonely housewives burn down the only barn
Oh I'll never ever see you, in the same light again

Daylight turns to moonlight
and the dreams ,they never began
One more covered sign to try to stop the pain of life
Cause you going places babe

Forever such a long time
Feel my flesh fed
by the blood of my fear pumping in from my head
Oh mama
Oh mama
Where are you now

As I echo up to the sun
Let the sunshine come
You can't disminish thats already gone
gone
gone
gone
gone
gone
gone
gone
I can taste the sugar

Through the window of the train I catch a reflection of my brain
I don't know what I'm doing but I'm doing it again and again
My minds alive
I'm counting time
Till Jesus saves me

I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm  alone

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I love it.   Do you mind if I add some reverb and compression?   I think it's instructive to hear how much depth a great compressor and a weird reverb can add to a guitar/vocal arrangement.

I think this is one of the coolest sounding guitar tones you've ever gotten.   Gibson acoustic into a Kemper? WOW!

Coolness. Easy to get lost in it and go for an hour.
Groovy!

This sounds cool Trevor, great laid back bluesy track. Love the echo/ reverb on the guitar and the tone of your vocals. Great lyrics too. :)
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

Nice cool laid back bluesy number, Trev. It's 5.45 am down here and I'm jamming away with this on my strat (f**k the neighbours).

Here's my attempt to add more compression and a different type of reverb on top of the entire track.   I am curious if anyone thinks it helps, or DOES NOT help the track.  It won't hurt my feelings if you prefer the original.  In fact I'd rather hear ten different opinions.  here's an attempt to "fatten" things with reverb...

The original sounds good, and I just felt like the song wanted MORE reverb. :-)  I also tried to put some more stereo width in there.
