I haven't even tried one of these cut-ups, but this is really good. Very creative, and well arranged. Not to mention the great instrumental work.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

This is indeed a great song. Love all the sections within it and that little synth middle section is crazy good. I suggested that he put in just a little piece to transition back to the verse and what he came up with blew me away. Exactly what the song needed, nothing more. And of course, the solos and riff sections are brilliant. It was great when he asked me to play the bass, it was incredibly fun to sit down for a bit and work my way through all the different parts. Hope to supply the bass on more of your songs :)

Thanks for all the great comments everyone....it feels good to get a full song done, its been awhile for sure......gives me motivation and inspiration to get another one going....just hard to find the time to focus long enough to get productive....I really enjoyed using Garageband and my iPad to record this...good work flow and the portability factor...I learned alot of good tips and ideas also which I will use on the next one.

listening again...after seeing it come up on the comments...oh yes...a great song.... really like the dreamy vocals especially...and i suppose they seem dreamy to match the dreamy music...it's like an ice cream truck that dishes out late 60's or early 70's rock....and you can eat the stuff just like ice cream... and the lead guitar is awe.... sum
super song construct....can you imagine how much you could make with this one if you had a time machine?

It's been fun listening to everyone's picks for the years sampler....it's like a celebration of the years efforts...
I have already commented a few times on this but this time the bass really stands out...
