I liked George Harrisson a lot, the most discreet of the mythical group, but an excellent musician and composer
In fact I rediscovered him after having seen, heard the Concert for George by his friends, and in particular this song "Ist it a pity".
For those who don't know it, here is the live version by Eric Clapton, Billy Preston,...and a whole bunch of musicians

Here is an instrumental cover with Lap Steel guitar, Bass, Acoustic guitar, Strings and Piano are soundfont

I like George Harrison more and more as I age. Have really been enjoying Tedeschi Trucks and Jonathan Wilson versions of this tune lately along withy George's.

This is an absolutely stellar version. The intonation of the slide is spot on and oh-so emotive. Really beautiful.

I don't know the original but I enjoyed this a lot. Lovely lap steel playing, and it really suits the style of the song. Very nice work JP, it's always a pleasure to listen to your music.

Beautifully done, JP. The playing is very expressive and tasteful.

'All Things Must Pass' is one of my favourite albums. Up there with the Beatles albums for me. And this is one of the 4 or 5 stellar tracks on it. George was an incredible songwriter.

It's always a pleasure to hear your playing, JP, this is fabulous.

George is my favourite Beatle.
