Dear oh dear oh dear....

Luckily I don't really do pedals...

But this thread did make me do some totting up on my fingers, to see what gear has arrived here...

OOPS! ;D

In order of acquisition since last year:

  • Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute DC - Blue Stain.
    The hated 2019 version - I LOVE IT :)

  • Some cheap looper pedail (not as cheap as Greeny's :().
Like Greeny, I don't get it (looping) for my own use...
    It's gathering dust somewhere

  • Fender Vintera Roadworn 60s Strat - Firemist Gold.
It's got a Pau Ferro board, first I've tried, what's all the fuss about?
Looks cool, plays/feels between rosewood and maple

  • Gretsch thingy - er...
(oh, here we go: "G5222 ELECTROMATIC® DOUBLE JET™ BT WITH V-STOPTAIL, LAUREL FINGERBOARD, AGED NATURAL")
Think Malcolm Young (it's a cheap one, there is a signature Malcolm Young, but I'd rather have a complete guitar! LOL)
It is the sound of AC/DC.
I don't like the Gretsch thinking on wiring pickups, volumes and tones, though... I shall have to get the soldering iron out.

  • Gibson Flying V, Antique Natural.
    Whoa!!!
Why did I think these were over the top for all these years?
    Perfect "old fat dude's guitar"

  • Laney Cub Super12 15W Combo.
This was my birthday present from the adoring Mrs R.
It's from their updated Cub range.
It's utterly gorgeous - almost made me want to gig.

  • Fender Noventa Stratocaster - Crimson Red Transparent.
A strat with two P90s - also Pau Ferro, I'm a convert now.
The guitar I've been playing most since it arrived.

  • PreSonus Studio 68c 6x6 USB Interface - this was a week or so ago...
(avec Studio One Artist 5 DAW and a bunch of other stuff, including spam mail originating from registering with at least one of the 3rd Party suppliers!)
The Marvelous Mechanical Mouse Organ (BR1600) has been disconnected from the sockets in the Broomcupboard and is waiting to go to the loft.
I'm on a steepish learning curve, but have found out how to do most of the things I was doing on the BR1600...
I do need to upgrade to Studio One Professional (possibly via a subscription deal - it actually works out cheaper if you do the maths and factor in free version number upgrades).
And I probably need EZ Drummer or the more upmarket version (Superior Drummer), but I haven't watched any vids on the latter yet.

You've heard the blue one and the gold one on some songs last year.
The red one is on the "learning" project in Studio One. This project might become a song, it's just 1.23 at the moment, no vocals, but fully loud and stonking... horrid drums, though (working title "Lick Lilly's Lolly", but Mrs R seems to think people might misinterpret this, so I might have to rethink).

Anyways, better get back to work to pay for the next bit!

GAS on, dudes  ;D ;D ;D

Is just a piece of paper

The whole time I was trapped in the USA last year, I did not buy a single pedal.

But I made a pedal board for a friend with a bunch of Velcro and a Spiderman skateboard from a thrift store.

Here's a photo of me laying on the Velcro.
