I liked Trevor's original song so much while jamming to it on drums I hit record and the rest fell into place. Bass was next and mixed to taste. Travor oked me posting it so for those who wanted to hear more parts, here you go. 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Now this REALLY sounds like a long lost psychedelic classic from Haight-Ashbury. That bass especially is awesome. Brilliant additions - really adds flesh to the bones.

TPB

Yes sir the drumming and bass have really set a anchor to this song well done brother

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

This sounds excellent. Your bass and drums really lift the song to a higher level. It does sound like a song from the 70's. got that classic sound. Trevor's vocals are just great. :)

I have just caught up with Trev's first version and spotted the Hardlock addition link.  This is awesome.  I should be sixties hippie-dancing around to this.  Fantastic!

I'm getting flashbacks from the summer of love i never had! Did someone spike my coffee, or was it the covid shot? :) There's also a touch of funkiness with those slinky vocals and rhythmic chops you're showcasing. Mighty fine mood piece.
