I have an Arturia SparkLE which I haven't used seriously yet. Must spend a bit more time getting to grips with it methinks.

Same here - I've had it a while but it needs so much RAM - a recent upgrade to the PC has meant that I can now use it as a VI in Reaper. Much better.

And I forgot the reso bass was the Poly-D

A lot of work (and headache) in this one then. But all worth it. I missed all the 'difficult' bits out on my version, so I appreciate the attention to detail and how you haven't skimped on anything. Fantastic playing and production, and a very fine vocal by James to put the cherry on top. Really like those little brass bits on the chorus - classy!

Superb track,that bass is outstanding as is the music as well.
Jims vocal is stuck in there so firm and clear I was singing along to it in my car with a bit of falsetto and his delivery is bang on the money.
A singalong a jim moment.

Love it. A really original take on this classic. Brilliant Bass, some lovely touches throughout and a great vocal from Jim. Thoroughly enjoyable.

 I admit I didn't recognize the song until the chorus and then suddenly remembered    This is really quite a pro-level production. I enjoyed all the little details, especially the horns and strong disco bassline, and vocal.  Maybe the vocal could be upped slightly in the mix?  I bow down to the expert production using sophisticated keyboard and soft-synth sounds.  It may take a long time, but it must be fun getting it really, really right!

I don't even need to ask if you guys had a lot of time in this. That's a badass guitar tone Mike, and superb musical arrangement overall (Yes killer bass!!). And James I love your "newer" vocal direction, it's the best and more please.

I love this song and that's a fab cover, just enough camp and just enough rock. Sounds great in the mix too.

Have to own up that I've seen Steps perform this on at least two occasions (accompanying the wife, of course)
