New listening, and congratulations to James, of course, nice version and excellent orchestration

I like this song so much that I'm going to do a new version with the picking of Pierre Bensusan version, which is in DADGBE....
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

That's a really intimate and touching rendition. Sang with real depth and feeling. Brilliantly arranged and put together Alfredo. Being Irish of course I know this song very well, but similar to Jim I never really took in the full meaning till listening to this version (I have normally not been too into trad Irish music too much, maybe because of overkill when you hear it so much), so it's a bit of a surprise to take in the full depth and meaning. Beautiful guys.

This is lovely Alfredo. I love the way you gradually build up the arrangement as the song goes on and bring in more instruments. It really helps  to build the emotion. But Jim's vocal is a stunner here, it's so sensitively sung and beautifully performed. Nice job on mixing it all together as well. I like the fact the vocals are front and centre. Maybe they are a little loud at the beginning with just the one acoustic, but I think they are perfect as the arrangement builds.

This is a superb collaboration. I hope you can get back to Ireland before too long.......

I think the vocal is well placed in the mix and yes this song does invoke a feeling of Ireland great collab guys
