From my Smoking Nun Syndicate electronic side project. Me, GarageBand, and the MBR.

A lot of people will only be familiar with the huge Candi Staton hit version of this which is pure, classic disco. The Bee Gees first did it in 1975. The verse is kind of boring, but the bridge and chorus... their songwriting kills me sometimes. Just sublime.

Smooth as silk playing and your vocal is perfect on this song. Just kinda flows along Bobbing my head drinking my morning coffee good way to start the day

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Ooh, lovely juicy synths and big bass beats! Loved it, nice vocal as well (like the call and response). Great fun, but sad to see there's no ridiculous nun video this time..... ;)

BerryPatch

Love the new arrangemnt. Vocals hit the spot (cool call an response in the chorus) and the synths are all very tasteful.

Excellent. It's true, amazing songwriters these guys were. I don't know the original, but I love this, classy pop. A bitter sweet, tinged with sadness very melodic tune. Nice work on the synths too.

Excellent version, Tim - from the Moroder-esque synths to the vocals. Not familiar with the Candi Staton version, although I do remember the original by the Bee Gees. I prefer yours!

Another beauty for the fest  Tim... I went to see Simon & Garfunkel years ago and sat listening to them reminiscing my life to their music as they played and the bee gees are another of those bands that have that effect they were there through those childhood years into the man and each song fits a certain period

Everything you do, Tim just oozes class and here is another example. Stellar production with those swirling synths above that solid disco beat and of course excellent vocal.
