I started of with the rhythm on this then actually tried to put a real bass guitar on it then followed trying out my SPD-11 i tried my best to put a drum beat to it anyway it is what it is i need a lot more practice on the drums and and bass but i enjoyed trying and thats the impotant bit isn't it. Thanks for listening

The crow sits on the wire judging the traffic noise
Staring at the blood stained tarmac from the dark of night
Black satin claws rip at it's blooded delight
Because no one really trust the night
No one can really trust the night

We regret when we regress with our life
The burden of truth is not on our side
Sometime dream becomes too real in our life's
But it all disappears into to the dark of night
it all disappears into the night

Black as soot, the ghost of night reappears
The darkness so quick it scares the child
inner self tries to reflect to see through it all
Because no one can trust the night
No one can trust the night

The owl sits alone contemplating his inner fears
The night wraps around him as he slowly disappears
Dancing in the darkness he takes flight up to the sky
As he hides within the dark of night
As he disappears into the night

Yesterdays dreamers become unstuck on tomorrow dream
The liars lay awake coming undone at their seams
While the lost anxious with their fear or flight start run
cause no one can trust  the night
No No one can trust the night
No one can trust the night
No one can trust the night
No one can trust the night

If Life is a dream then use your imagination

I think you did a hellava job on the bass and drums Trevor! I'd be happy to have drums like this on any of my songs. The bass sits just right in the mix and the vocals/lyrics are top notch.....enjoyed it!

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

This is a really good song. I love your vocals and the lyrics are very poetic. Great acoustic guitar and bass sounds great. I like the punchy drum sound, it would even sounds great without drums I reckon too. :)
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)

What a vocal! That 'no one can trust the night' refrain is such a massive hook. And I really like the lyric too. Brilliant performance and songwriting.

BerryPatch

Very, very cool. Excellent lyricism and and quite well crafted all around. Love the big sound of those drums, reminds me of some of the Lindsey Buckingham tracks off of Tusk.

Ferryman_1957

Great songwriting Trev, superb lyrics and a great performance. I think you did a great job with the drums, they sound quite natural and nothing sounds too out of place. I have to admit I couldn't really hear the bass, but then I like my bass right up front..... ;) You definitely sound like you were having fun!

Bluesberry

its got a real lo-fi feel....and the vocals are the deal....a bit of an early Rod Stewart/Faces feel to me....
