Lovely version JP, you really captured that laid back blues feeling with some beautiful tasteful playing. I always enjoy hearing you sing in French, some languages suit certain styles of music so well and this is one of them. Bravo!

One of my favourite bands in the 1970s was Japanese and I used to sing along with their songs in Japanese. No idea what I was saying or if I was even close to the Japanese words, but great fun.

QuoteI just love your singing JP....and I like it in French!  I don't know a word you say but that is part of why I love it...

It's true that the French lyrics sound good in this famous blues. It's not always the case!...it's true that the lyrics are composed in French by a singer...from Wales :)  Michael Jones

Michael Jones very good guitarist who accompanied Jean Jacques Goldman with Carole FredericKs (younger sister of the guitarist Taj Mahal)

In this Frederick, Goldman and Jone's song, he talks about the impact of Rock and Roll on generations of teenagers in the 50-70's

=in this song Goldman says (about Rock and Roll songs listened to in France most of the time at that time without understanding a single word of the songs) ..and in the 60's, you couldn't even get the lyrics (no internet!)

Goldman says about the first R'n'R songs on the radio
QuoteWhen I opened the radio
It was called rock and roll
(...)
I didn't understand it at all
Except that it was my life
You don't understand anything but it sounds[

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
