Great collab guys ! From Mike's description of ageing men living in wooden huts this picture keeps going through my mind:

This is brilliant. It's similar enough to pay homage to the original, but different enough that you have put your own stamp on it. The choral vocal is really good, that works really well and gives it a distinct identity. The keys and bass are amazing, but sadly for me the bass has got a bit lost, despite it sounding quite upfront in the rough version we heard on the Zoom call. But you know my bias for upfront bass..... 

And the guitar? Well it's mahoosive! I love the sound and the way you have recorded it. It kicks you in the teeth without dominating the track. And it's really well played (I assume by Geir?), again it adds a distinctness to the track.

The production is wonderful, you did a stunning job on this keeping everything clear, I love the drum treatment, you really got that spot on. It must've been fun doing the gated reverb.....

Really well done everyone, it's a fab listen.

Some seriously good singing here lads. And shit, where did that guitar solo come from! This pays homage to the whole songcrafters site... not too many spring chickens on the site  Fantastic guys, on fire... sounds like a whole lotta fun.
