Wonderful acoustic ride Dave...folky for sure but with other elements as well. Clean and clear and sweet to the ear. Really fine playing and I loved how you subtlety wove in the strings. Excellent post. You're a warrior to go from the 1200 to software. Hats off to your journey, which is apparently off to a great start.

Thats some cool guitar playing , love the acoustic live feel with the pipes in the background , i love this kind of commitment to an instrument , it takes hours and hours to put a 3 or 4 minute solo guitar piece together, staring with the idea and the passion and stamina to record it and finish the work off , well done i enjoyed the music and your guitar skills , brilliant

Really lovely Dave, great playing and the cello is a really nice additional touch. It's really quite intricate but never loses the lovely folky overall feel. Really impressed with the quality of your guitar work, bravo.

The Berry family appears to have turned into the von Trapps..... ;)

Some very impressive acoustic finger picking Dave! The supporting strings/synths work beautifully. Not only am I impressed with your acoustic work but it's just as impressive that you did it with an iPhone and Garage Band. I'm still in the dark when it comes to recording like that.

Just brilliant. Beautiful. It doesn't matter how you do it, how you get the ideas down, as long as you do. I appreciate trying different ways of getting tunes down - I am struggling with a sore back and have to figure different ways of spending time putting tunes together - so I am totally with you on the journey. But back to the track, the most important thing. A beautiful, folky, poignant piece of music, brilliantly played. Enjoyed that.
