Fur Elise (Beethoven) - Arrangement for Grade 1 piano student (ie me) but spiced up with strings and a haunted music box.

Cubase 10, with Pigments,  Halion 6, and UVI Falcon synths.

Played one track as a haunted music box sound with the actual original piano arrangment, a second track of ornamentations that I felt like adding, and a third track my very amateur attempt at adding some strings. Because hey, strings.

This is me live, so I'm not entering score data into the synth, I'm playing the keys live here, which I gotta say as a person who didn't play piano at all three years ago, it feels lovely to be able to play a bit.

That music box sound is great sounding! Awesome that you played this live. I've tried playing this piece before and couldn't get the whole hand independence thing down. Playing chords with my left hand always throws me off haha

Mate, if you are you going to play a cover, you may as well choose Beethoven.

Sounds great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I've not really played piano for almost 30 years, but even so, I want to take a stab at it now, too. (But I'm too lazy to.) This was a great early morning listen.

Ooh, I love haunted musical boxes and I loved this. A great version, it belongs in a horror movie. I really like the sounds you have used here and the ornamentations create a wonderful eerie soundscape. There's a section in the middle where you kind of hold the intro notes which adds to the spooky feel. I don't know if that's you or Beethoven, but it works really well.

Brilliant. Loved the sounds and the mood of this one.

Beautiful piano playing, congrats, and super-super good idea to have a cover of a classical piece! They're kinda forgotten until someone like you brilliantly re-invent them for our delight, to be just the cool ideas they used to be!

this can go either way to me...it's very neutral and depends alot on ones mood I think...because really it's a beautiful sound...but yes...there could be a hint of deviant to this....really good stuff Warren....like it...
ohohohoh...that bit around 1:45 is just so grand sounding on my triamped speakers I am listening to just now.....please expand this man...wonderful stuff....

I'm kinda with Nigel on this one. It's pretty but it's also pretty creepy and good horror movie soundtrack. Your live piano work is brave and came out fine. Love the whole idea/premise for this tune. It has a rather strange effect on me. Found myself just staring out the window into the woods and feeling kinda spacey. Cool post Warren!

Yeah this works... it really is lovely and disconcerting at the same time. Very well put together and a fine job on the keys!
