molotovs in marmalade jars
dethrone the king but keep off the grass

i could storm the barricades of time
but it's just a revolution in my mind

imagination keeps us sane
we kiss the sky in the humdrum rain

i could storm the barricades of time
but it's just a revolution in my mind

your rebellion was just against yourself
in your own lunchtime
when the winter palace fell

revolution... revolution...

i could storm the barricades of time
but it's just a revolution in my mind

Cool bass playing going on here, and the vocal harmonies are silky smooth.

Very cool track! You really captured the psych feel in this song. LOVE those backing vocals you added as well, really takes the feel to a whole new level (to sound whimsically psychedelic).

I am reading a book on George Harrison at the moment which sort of goes into the theme of your composition , i really like that 60,s vibe in this, brilliantly achieved in your music playing and vocals  , always a treat to listen to your music and ideas , spot on !!!

Love this psychedelic little gem. Killer bass and I'm totally tripping out on those guitars! Hell of a vocal too Greeny.

Blimey, it's before 10:00 am in the morning and here I am on a crazy trip, maaaaan....... :D

I just love this. The vibrato/tremolo effect on the guitars creates a lush, swirling soundscape that you handled really well, modulation like this is easy to overdo but you held it in check and it sounds fantastic. The chords, melodies and bass playing fit together so well and with the mellotron additions there are plenty of nods to 60s psychedelia but it's still uniquely Tim. And the harmonies, especially over the "revolution" at the end, are wonderful.

It's a brilliant track, right up my street. I could probably just about manage a rebellion in my lunchtime.

Oh, and I had to Google tanpura. I thought that was something you got in a Japanese restaurant.

tripping out with my morning coffee  really like the guitar playing on this one memorizing

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Love the Beatle-esque feel to this one, Tim. Fabulous harmonies and great lyrics. Those guitars are mixed perfectly to create the lovely sweeping psychedelic effect and the bass playing is brill. Straight off Rubber Soul this one, m8.

Man your writing blows me away. It just keeps getting better. "Molotovs in maramalade jars" what a hoot!
Most definitely a Beatles vibe, which i love and a psychedelic aura thanks to your cool guitar effects and mixing.
The vocals are primo..the harmonies spot on. Your unorthodox bass lines are addicting... creative and a trip all on their own.
You sure do some cool stuff, Mr. Green. Really enjoyed this one.
