Don't know the original but it sounds like a great song from this version. I am fine with a big dollop of seventies cheese too so no problems there. You vocal is quality here. Love that sparse arrangement too. Super stuff.

this was on the radio a whole bunch growing up and I had forgotten it....until I just heard you singing it on my phone...."what the hell is that?"  I thought.   Well....I came for a reminder... oh yeah....it's so funny ...just last week at work I had to put a sticker on a cable printer that was ready to go....so I wrote Helen..... Ready on the paper.....I doubt anyone would get it...but oh well...thats me...

One of my all time best songs of the past , bloody brilliant !!! when a song gets stripped down to its core , it usually shows off the best features and projects the theme even better IMO , impressive vocal just highlights the melody and lets the song breath , brilliant stuff

btw...my sister was here two weeks over the holidays and I played a good number of your songs in the car...she was amazed at how good your music is...she especially loved your voice!
