Sounds romantic, but the lyrics have a few weird barbs in them  ::) ;D

Max composed and played some beautiful acoustic guitar layers. I did vocals and added a tiny bit of guitar at the end of the bridge section / middle 8. Max also added some vinyl crackle to give it an old-fashioned feel.

Another one that was really fun to do  :)

Where shall we go tonight?
turn your face towards the light
we're paintings on the four walls of this room

and I don't want the ordinary
I want the things I've never seen
Busby Berkley babes and starlet swoons

and we should take
a taxi to the moon
fly our cage
and slip away

hail and climb in
this seratonin
who wants to be conventional?

cocktails at the last saloon
monkey clowns with pink balloons
imagination to infinity

time to get your gladrags on
we'll go running with the dogs
far above the sorrow of the world

and we should take
a taxi to the moon
fly our cage
and slip away

and we should take
a taxi to the moon
fly our cage
and slip away

slip away...

Yet another fine collab! As mentioned previously, lots of great talent on this board and this is a top notch example in all regards! Great chord progressions and developments throughout!

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I gotta think the kind of record player little noises was intentional and added to the romance of the nostlgic vibe... I purposely avoided reading the lyrics for now...the song has a lovely, lovely feel to it... nice work to both of you... another time I will read the lyrics...

Taxi to the Moon... what a great title. This shimmers with the delicacy of dragonfly wings. Loved the acoustic guitars and the emotionally delivered vocals. Disappointed that i couldn't hear the "crackle". My hearing is way too far gone for that i guess. Always makes me wonder what other cool things i'm missing.
Fine collab here you guys. Really enjoyed this song...
