This is an instrumental.  Totally unplanned.  I had no intention of playing or recording anything for a few days... but my lovely son Markus (15) got on the keyboard and I recorded some of his work (the main key part in the first 5 minutes).  I just loved the feel of it so I started to whittle away with the various instruments.  I had decided to record some keyboard parts for something else.  Kind of an oriental sound using black keys only.  I placed that in the last 3 minutes... this is long, over 8 minutes and I had to pretty heavy compress it to get under 7mb.
I recorded quite a bit of drums stuff and then I used the bass with the wah pedal.  first time I ever did that.  The guitar is HB PRS copy.  various effects from the ME25 and compression from the BR1600 ( I recorded and mixed on the BRs).  I did some weird things here.... its kind of prog meets traditional oriental sound meets psychadelic meets new age.  I loved doing it.
It's pretty much a head trip in the head phones and is cool to just use as background music.  Hope you have a great weekend... Ii posted a not so compressed version on my reverbnation page...just clikc the red star
apologies for a few bad notes...also no drungs or acohol involved...lol

NOTE:  edited down to 6:40 and performed a bit of trickery on the DAW

Very cool, very out there and a very enjoyable trip (no chemical enhancement required). This is right up my street, it's a bit new age-y to start with but then goes very psychedelic IMO. I love the break down just after 5 minutes in, that is mad but very intriguing with some great sounds, the way the keyboard and bass play off against each other is cool. It then turns into quite a trip, which I really liked.

It sounds good as well, the guitars and keys sound great and the bass sound is excellent. I have no idea how you did drums to this, especially in the latter part of the track, but they worked well.

As usual, very innovative and out there. But it made sort of sense to me..... :D

And now for something completely different! Mostly comes over like a New York cop TV soundtrack from the 80's - all moody city shots and steam rising from the grates. Then that shift into strangeness. Like the TV cops are having an acid trip. I like strangeness of this. It's very cool, funky and atmospheric. Excellent!
