3 guitar tracks... a lead and 2 rhythm panned left and right (the same one with different effects).
Garageband for the rest... Drums (electronic sounding), weird electronic bass and a swirly pad type thing.

The title came to me as I was mixing it, no idea where it came from, but seemed to fit for some reason.

Spent a while trying to play the lead and ending up using the best bits from a few takes.

Any dodgy mix howlers don't be afraid to comment (spent a good while going back and forward with volumes of various bits but now starting to not hear anything properly!)...

I am 98% certain that if I had heard this without knowing who made it I could guess it right to be you....because the guitar style is very much yours...and it is very very good imo... whether it be your stuff with Mr. Huntingford or your solo stuff... I have listened to enough of your music that it is etched in my mind such that my catalog name pops right up on hearing.... leads me to think that we should have some sort of fest where we post without names and have everyone guess who it is...that would be fun...
love your guitar work imenslly.  I also like your singing but I have no problem with good instrumentals...
I think the name fits ....at least the idea of it... yes..like it or not AI is here to stay...and we interact with it...some might say its like an invasive species...others would say its a beautiful garden...

> Any dodgy mix howlers

I would also appreciate any pointers whenever I post a mix on things like "muddy" mix, or lack of clarity of the parts.

I am hearing all your parts, with enough separation and clarity and room in the mix that I don't think you have any "howlers".

Your "forward in mix" clean guitar tone has a lot of detail and sounds very nice. There's a rhythm/chords guitar part that fades nicely into the background, which is what I think is the very meaning of mix.   The bass is understated but certainly not too far back in the mix.

I think it's a great track.  If it was me, I'd have put some sorta 80s synth pad in there , but hey, I put 80s synth pads in everything.  Your swirly pad disappears into the mix and adds texture, so I'd say you did that right.

I just assign titles to my instrumentals based on the headspace I'm in, most recently I was thinking about a particular line in a Peter Gabriel song so there's my title.    My lead guitar playing is queasy and all over the map and not on the beat, so hey, it's Peter Gabriel feeling queasy, kinda title mood.  Your title is interesting and I think that's the key.

No obvious howlers for me Mike. This is a really cool, spacey instrumental. There's quite a lot going on but I liked the full, washy soundscape, it suits the style of the music. Some really nice melodic lead work and some excellent chord changes in there. I liked this a lot!

The older i get, the more i enjoy instrumentals. I liked this. It's a unique ride. I envy you DAW software guys and your ability to cut and paste so easily and so well.
Technically, i think Warren summed it all up really well. Nice post here Mike.

All sounds clear, separated and tasty to me. Lovely lead Strat work in the left air and some sublime chord changes. I don't think you know how good this is! I could hear all kinds of vocal melodies firing too.
