A particular melodic element of the very awesome Peter Gabriel song "Steam", a particular descending scale pattern, was locked in my head.  Nothing else would come out of me today.  So I made this to exorcise and enjoy the obsession.

Anyone wondering "what the actual BLEEP".. I'm listening to this, and I feel it kind of fell apart in the mix.  :-)

It really does sound like a Gabriel groove to me, not sure what you mean by falling apart. No such thing!!

I liked this Warren. There's some cool sounds in there and you create a strong atmosphere with this one. I was thinking maybe it could do with some more light and shade, but then just at that point (around 2:40) you broke it all down towards the end which I thought worked really well and held my attention until the end.

I think one of the challenges is that you have quite a lot of strong effects here, the reverbed and quite separated drums along with some strong echo on the guitar. Occasionally the effects can get a little out of kilter but never in a really bad way. I think you might be over analysing that and hearing some glitches as you keep listening to it. But it definitely didn't fall apart for me......

Nice instrumental, very captivating and different type of instrumental, on a positive way! Works fine to me.

Dark, brooding, squelchy and fab. I like it! I agree with Nigel that 'less is more' and that the minimalism at the end works really well. Some interesting sonic adventures though.
