Well it is raining so I broke out the acoustic and did this with a 60's feel. Had to drop the bitrate to get it to go

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Lovely version Tim. Great vocals, and great interplay between the guitar and the harp. Very nice recording balance across the instruments and vox, a fab listen this Sunday morning.

Bonne interpretation Tim et excellent mix guitar/harmonica
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Brave soul you are to do a Skynrd tune..a veritable anthem for the southern boys..but you pulled it off well. You made it yours, and that's why it worked out so well..IMHO. Solid instrumentally and your vocals are excellent Tim. Enjoyed this..

I love this song and you have definitely done it justice.  The acoustic guitar sounds, harmonica, and vocal are great all around.  I like the very stripped down feel - it could even do fine without the backing vocal (or maybe it would be cool to have a female higher register backing vocal for contrast).  Your vocal tone fits the lead vocal perfectly, but listening back a second time I wondered if the vocal is over-compressed/limited (or going past 0 dB?) just a tiny bit (causing a tiny bit of distortion?) (I could be totally off about that...).

Great poignant version of this LS song. Vocals are fantastic, Tim and that melancholic sounding harp fits perfectly.
