Here is my 2nd song for 2021.  A contemporary jazz piece with funk accent in bassline.  Its long, I know, but I just could stop playing.  I am posting a lower fidelity version here in the jukebox.  If you want to hear better version go here:

As i just commented on Hillary's song, song length is irrelevant..or should be. It's about the artist saying what he wants to say..going with the mood and flow. I loved this piece. Great touches with the synths and guitar and bass. Not boring at all. Like sitting under a tree watching the river flow by on a nice day. Time kinda stands still. These days everybody seems in a hurry. I respect your allegiance to the song. Excellent tune.

cool name...and I am totally good with songs that go on for long times....like "20 minute extended dance versions."  2 to 3 minute songs came from radio and advertising.... I have no problem with short songs but.... sometimes it takes that long to even get the flow going.... I really dig the bass sounds here....has that treble pop that became so popular when Hartke came out with those bass cabinets....it revolutionized bass thinking and sound... your music is wonderfully full of interesting moments...and lots of sound pallets...
I like so many different kinds of music...to me there are no genres... I once played a song for 45 minutes and then recorded 11 minutes of it...lol... I am easily amused!  Thanks for posting here on SC because i likely would not have found your music on Reverb.... they kind of steer you to certain kinds....

Plenty going on here to keep me interested, melodically and rhythmically.  A nice arrangement that creates a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Starts out and I am getting a Steely Dan jazz vibe then it takes you away I can see why you wanted to keep going well done love it

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Love this vibe. Cool and mellow. Drifts along and takes you with it. Great mix of instruments. Truly lovely stuff. JMc

Fabulous cool soft jazz track, Mike. Gotta love that bass and those funky lines. Nice use of various instruments too (guitar, organ, flute, vocalisations, synth etc.) Lovely laid-back music to relax to.
