One for the little guy,
Used a couple of  Christmas presents on this,
Yamaha Pacifica 311 H and a Electro Harmonics mini Pog octave pedal
which gave the kinda organ and bass sounds
the rest from a tube screamer, EH soul food and a delay

Enough of the GAS, inspired by the afore mentioned little guy in the title
Recorded on BR80 with on board mics and drums.

Little fighter fierce and proud
Not afraid to stand out from the crowd
          Fast as lightning, tricky too
See the gaps no others do

          Little Robin, stands his ground
          Little Robin, sing your song

All the rest, big and strong
Looking down, what do they know
Try to see, but then he,s gone
Seen them coming, got to go

        Flashing red, you,ve been warned
Sharp as a tac, wits and all
Never sell the little guy short
        He shows no fear

I like robins and I like this. A really nice indie crunch on the guitars, and I like that melodic part hovering over them. So well performed - with energy and conviction. A great listen!

I like the upbeat-ness of this song! The over drive on the guitars sounds so good...all your new toys are working out well SE. Your vocal and melody are tops and they are placed perfectly in the mix. I like it!

especially like the guitar sounds... and the driving enthusiasm of the song...you really believe in this and the song shows it... and of course you have your very own unique vocal identity which is very good imo....  seemed like it got over quick...

I liked this alot! Good solid rocker with a unique sound. The leads were cool with a bit of The Edge tone and the vocal doubling a hint of David Bowie...but i'm not big on comparisons. This has a neat vibe all it's own. The abrupt ending caught me by surprise. BTW, i love Robins...the birds of Spring and rebirth. Excellent tune SE.

That organ-like sound is very, very good. That's great use of Christmas presents. But beyond that tasty sound, the song is good too. Rock without too the bombast, a subject matter that could be treated delicately but fits the music well as you've written it and, most importantly, I enjoyed listening.
