Erin go Bragh
I do not know how I let this one slip by and it is a family affair also your son's smoking bass and the brothers playing together and to think this was done at the table makes it even more special. my hat is off to all involed

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I love the live feel. This was great to listen to except that now I'm jonesing for some real, live jamming with friends but it just isn't happening right now.

WOW Dave, this is really something!!!!! Like a Van Morrison song, when he is taken by that mistic crescendo, and growing soulful and growing rhythm. Great great song. Aaaand I like the tension introduced by the bass line on that chord that is held at the end of the sentence. My bad english, hell I can't explain, just WOOOOW!

There's something about Eastern Canadians,  it's in the blood. Nice one Dave and family!

Thank you guys for all the comments. I was unsure if my bass playing would be a little too much but I think it turned really well. We had Paul over just the other day but couldn't really get a good recording. It was fun nonetheless and we've still got an idea or two to rerecord some other songs he played the day we recorded this song. Crazy how the stars sort of aligned to be able whip this one off as quick as we did. Cheers! -Keith

Classic seafaring folk song. Nice live sound and performance.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Live music around the table. Yes!

It's a cold and rainy day here. It reminds me of walking into a pub after a long hike in Ireland. I can't decide to get a beer or a glass of Bushmills for my next listen.

Okay, I'll have both.
