I admired Mr Prine's songwriting. Great storyteller. This version doesn't do it justice, but i tried.

Posted accidentally under original songs. I'm rusty. Sorry 64!

Ahhh, the comfortable sound of the talented John Prine...RIP. You've done a great rendition of this song Pine! Your vocal, harmonies, guitar, bass and banjo are all sit nicely in the pocket. A fine cover!

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Jean Pierre

new listening..really good

question How did you make the choir ? 2nd voice by yourself or with a device?

Thanks Farrell, JP, Dunny, Tim, and Stephen. Reassuring comments for my failing confidence. Just don't trust my mixing and singing due to my ever declining hearing and ever present Tinnitus. Can never understand my soft spoken wife or most people without wearing bi-lateral hearing aides...and can't stand them when playing. I'd be lost without my headphones.

JP..Whenever i can, i try to do my own harmonies...but the "choir" was out of reach on this one. Added the 3rd and 5th
with a Vocalist Performer.
