Unlike Clock is Tickin' , which was basically written and recorded in one day, this song took 30 years!! I wrote it in the late 70's and played it out with my then band Blue Fox. We did it as a choppy little shuffle. I was never really happy with it.
One of my fav bands way back when (and still) is Roomful of Blues...a great band that featured Duke Robillard on guitar and a great horn section. I always dreamed of playing in a band with horns. Well, when i got my Casio 691, one of the rhythm presets was a swing setting and as soon as i heard it, The Light came on and i knew where i had a song just waiting for it. With the aid of my incredible BR1200 and my old bandmate Pinecat James on the harp, we pumped some new life into a forgotten tune.

Another great track Charlie !! Super production as always and great interaction between the mellow lead-guitar and the harmonica!

This was a treat - Think you might have posted the first bluesy swing arrangement. Really good vox, too!!

Thanks Geir. James B and i have been jammin' for over 30 years. The guy is a muti-instrumentalist but works his life away! I'm trying everything i know to get him into home recording.

This in the only track on my new album that i didn't master myself. A friend in Florida did it using lots of expensive software. IMO, it has quite a different sound. It's "louder" and has that crisp, digital sound. Can anyone else pick up on that compared to my other 2 songs here?

Very good stuff! Has the capability of making one spontaneous burst into dance.

I believe I've heard this one before, Charlie! A nice blend of 40's dance hall, and country swing. The harmonica is a great touch, and that's some tasty guitar solo.  Nice recording and production. I can tell you had fun with this.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

God this is good! I love the guitars

Swing is the opposite of blues.  I just loved this.  Great Had me bouncing around the living room. Great vocals. You need to drag more of these out!!  Your vocals were perfect.
