well done my friend (and your brother) :)

It's a song I've always liked, it's one of the first covers I did ...in 2015, if you didn't hear it at that time it's HERE

well I had a lot of help from the guys from Band in a Box, for the bluegrass/country color. ;)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Every time I log on to Youtube on my PC this video comes up so I thought I'd give it a bump as it's a joyful cover.

Coolness....  love seeing people play and sing.  So do i understand correctly that the mic is a recording device?
Really dig Doug the bassman too....
Is that a Music Man bass?

Hey, thanks for the bump!  It has been a while since I did that.  I dream of doing more video covers and using split video frames to show myself playing multiple parts.  But lately I've been letting midi files play the bass on all my covers, since I'm not much of a bass player  :)

Had fun doing that video.  The mic is a Zoom H4n recording device and the thing I was experimenting with there was having it simultaneously record my guitar playing, singing, and in that case it was also recording a drum pattern that was playing on a Casio keyboard.  The bass part was overdubbed afterwards.  It is a Fender Mustang Bass.  I'm not much of a bass player, but in this case I worked really hard with tab I found online to learn the bass part.  Took me ~10 days practicing maybe 30 minutes a day.  Of course doing it all as a live video meant I had to practice enough to be able to play/sing all the way through without messing up.  And as I recall it took many tries before I got a full error free video. But I would like to make more videos like that, eventually. Though for now in my covers, as I haven't had much free time, I'm letting midi files play the bass and other parts and just focusing on  rhythm guitars and vocals  :)
