Quote..I have a surprise for you that I will post today or tomorrow ;)

and so here it is!  Alex, I really liked your cover of "Little Red Rooster", a blues by Willie Dixon, covered by the Rolling Stones in 1964.
and this song made me think of Slim Harpo's "I'm a King Bee", also covered by the Stones at the same time in 1964.

"I'm a King Bee" is the first Stones song we heard in France. At the very beginning of the British invasion, we were either a Stones fan or a Beatles fan, rarely both (things quickly changed with the evolution of the two mythical bands).

all instruments was : telecaster HB, precision Bass HB, Dobro Epiphone/dobro, Harmonica Pro Harp Hohner, Drums MTPowerDrumKit

J'avais ce disque super 45 tours ! , 4 titres fabuleux Carol, walking the dog, can I get a witness, I'm a king Bee

traduction: Poor Jimmy got stung in the record store, it's crazy.
With a Stones single hidden under his clothes

premonitory weirdness? Brian Jones is not on the same picture as the other 4 Stones.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Jean Pierre

thank you all guys

Actually, I didn't know Slim Harpo...until yesterday ! Intrigued I looked on you tube and found some blues he played in a very typical 60's style with a power chord blues guitar often and a simple harmonica playing (compared to the virtuosos that there are now in this style...but I like it !

Here's an idea of a cover of a Slim harpo blues by the Busted Boomer Band, wouldn't you old guys like it?

...if one of you comes by, give me an answer...
