Micro BR metronome

I'm working on an arrangement where I want drums to kick in after the first verse. So far I've used the metronome in 'Step 1' for the first verse then a drum pattern in 'Step 2' for the start of the second verse.
Question: Does the metronome sound record as well as the drum pattern when I bounce or master the final thing? Naturally I only want the drums.
Sorry if this is a naive question but I'm away from my kit for a while and can't wait to find out the answer!

There's an easy solution to this - just set the pattern before the drums kick in to 'BREAK' before mastering, and you'll have silence until you want the drums to start. Use the tutorials section to get some pointers on drum arranging, as it's all done in 'steps'. It's easy when you know how
