Trippy piece! Very fitting for the event. Love the lush synth sounds you get. Almost heard shades of "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" when the low-end resonates!  8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

One of my very first albums that I ever bought was Albedo 0.39 by Vangelis, on cassette tape (a kosher album copy). I used to listen to it on one of those mono cassette players, that we all had, and which I later re-purposed as my first guitar amp, by soldering an input jack to the tape head, and it produced a wicked overdrive sound. As soon as I pressed play, it brought me straight back there.

You've captured that vibe - wonderful.

A musical magic carpet ride into the cosmos! Really enjoyed the trip. Great tones and production. Nice!

Wife and I wanted to view the event, but alas, it was too cloudy (Joni Mitchell was right about those damned clouds), so I'll just have to listen to your lovely piece and use my own imagination.  (I DID see what it looked like on TV though).

Great choice of timbres. I love stuff like this. It exists somewhere between Brian Eno and Isao Tomita.  Nice post.

I liked it a lot, especially when, without you noticing, there is a subtle change of pace or in any case a different pulse. Brilliant use of synths, great track, or soundtrack, I should say !
