Tonight and tomorrow night, depending on how cloudy it is near you, there's a chance to see something that hasn't happened for 800 years, and won't happen again for another 80.  Of course, tonight near me it's cloudy and so my enormous telescope won't do me a lick of good.

So I "rocked out" on my synths (composed) this nearly-live one-take-each on three tracks, to celebrate the (to me) invisible conjunction of these heavenly bodies.

The synths are Halion by Steinberg,  Pigments by Arturia, and u-he Diva.  The diva is providing the synth strings, a very "roland juno" type sound.   The woodwind sound is coming from Halion, and Pigments is providing a bellish sound.

The improvisational-composition (jam) is mostly built around the things I like to do when noodling around in D-flat major which (next to C and G major) are my favorite keys to play keys in.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

a celestrial beauty reminds of when i was a child laying on the carpet with my eyes closed listening to Holst's planets trying to figure out if God made the planets who made God? what was here before nothing ? until my 8 year old brain burned to dust

Heavenly & relaxing; lovely use of those synth pads to create that celestial ambience. Noodling in Db? Nah. Too many black keys in there for me LOL

Very uplifting and heavenly. Shades of Vangelis' Blade Runner but without the dystopian darkness. Captures the vastness and wonders of Space very well indeed.

this is really big!
I was in the mountains... and it was clear... but I saw the phenomenen the second night... and to me it looked kind of like a flying saucer just sitting there....tilted downward to the right... the left star was very bright and the smaller right one (which seemed very close to the other, maybe a few inches apart) was dimmer and the top and bottom were connected by a line of light...so it looked like a flying saucer... that is the best way I could describe what i saw.... I had never seen anything like it but it wasn't any thing that great either....but i didn't see it the first night...
but the stars there in the dark of the mountains are glorious in general with the very non existent background lighting...
your sound scape is big here W!

Very appropriate. Great spacey voices, that create the right atmosphere (pun intended). I was able to see the conjunction with binoculars ( no rings visible, unfortunately). But I did watch a live stream from a major observatory for a bit. Nice work!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
