I just watched the Bee Gees documentary on HBO. Must say i am upset the skipped cucumber castle era when Robin briefly left, But FMGWABP what an effin band, and fab songwriters. I was a prog head then a punk rocker so growing up i had an anathemaitic (not sure if that is a word, if it isn't i am claiming patent on it)  dislike of the Bee Gees. gawd i was so wrong.

A buddy gave me a CD a few years back with over 500 mp3s on it.

Sprinkled amidst the harder rock songs were tunes by Bee Gees, Madonna and Michal Jackson.
I never thought I would be caught dead listening to any of that stuff, but I am glad I did.

Those guys put out some great tunes.
It ain't pretty being easy.

In my youthful days I didn't care much for the Bee Gees but as I've gotten older I do appreciate their songwriting and singing abilities. I'll have to search out that documentary.

Me too, Farrell. I appreciated their talent, as well as their ability to evolve from a Beatles clone in the 60's, to their 70's disco persona, to a contemporary AOR band in the 80's and 90's. If you haven't seen their "One Night Only" concert video, from 1997, it is worth the time.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
