The closing BBCode tag must always begin with a '/', so it should be '[/youtube]', not '[youtube]'. Also, you need to specify the protocol of the URL (https:).

The easiest way to include a YouTube video is to click the

button which you'll find above the message editor (in the row above the smilies). This will insert the correct BBCode tag pair into your message at the current cursor position:

[youtube][/youtube]

Then all you have to do is paste the URL of your video between the tags like this:

[youtube]https://youtu.be/JXABrJFrDdA[/youtube]

Note that each BBCode tag is enclosed by brackets. Be careful not to put the URL inside one of the BBCode tags. The following examples are incorrect and will not work:

[youtubehttps://youtu.be/JXABrJFrDdA][/youtube]
[youtube][https://youtu.be/JXABrJFrDdA/youtube]

In the first example, the URL is inside the opening tag and there is nothing between the opening tag and the closing tag. In the second example, the URL is inside the closing tag and there is nothing between the opening tag and the closing tag. The URL must be inserted between the opening tag and the closing tag.

I could fix your post for you but I thought it would be better to teach you how and let you fix it yourself so you'll know how to do it in the future.

Also, please don't create a new topic when posting videos in the Post Your Work boards (Original Songs, Cover Songs, etc.). Instead, you should have edited your original post and inserted the YouTube player there. Every topic in the Post Your Work boards should include an MP3 file in the first message or a link to an offsite mp3 file. There should never be multiple topics for the same song. I will merge the two topics now, but please keep this in mind in the future.
