There's two fuzz pedals going on this: an original Big Muff (the ones too big to have on a pedalboard), plus my El Ray 'Lucha Fuzz'. Fender MiM Strat, Jazz bass, plus Garageband drums. Of course, monkeytrucker is just a warped alternative to 'motherfucker'. It's another angry song. Kind of an existential howl at the world  ::)

don't you monkey me around
like a siren running me aground
keepsakes of a rainy day
this drive-thru world has gone... insane

i lost my faith i lost my mind
needles in the pressure points of time
sucked into
a singularity
you monkeytrucker!

Gaslighting won't pay the rent
you're outside pissing in the tent
a tea party for apes and clowns
as the whole shithouse is burning down

i lost my faith i lost my mind
needles in the pressure points of time
sucked into
a singularity
you monkeytrucker!

Great rocker!  Love the chorus - dives right in and drives the song beyond the expected.  Very nice and tight throughout including the ending!

That's a badass riff Rockin monkey trucker of a song. I love any excuse for a monkey song, whether it's about monkeys, metaphorical monkeys, or accidental monkeys. This is a Rockin ask monkey song. That fuzz is phenomenal.
Rock on!

A cool rocker with some poignant lyric to help usher out 2020.....a real mothertrucker of a year! The two distinct fuzzes playing off each other sound fantastic Tim. The chorus is a real ear catcher with some very good harmonies. Your lead vocal is mixed in perfectly...clear enough to hear the words but not over powering....good stuff man!

Loving that guitar riff, great driving rhythm to the song and nice melody too. Really enjoyed it!

Heaps of great stuff going on in this song. Love that bluesy riff that kicks the song off and the lyrics are cool and incisive. The star for me however is that driving bass-line that's fluid yet unobtrusive. Great stuff; well done.

Echo everyone else. Great powerful energetic driving track. Fab minors on the chorus. Nice!

Ooooh fuzz, yum yum  :D Love those dirty old riffs, definitely got a glam stomp going on there. And I love your existential howl, as always some really sharp lyrics in there that give this a great edge. I really liked the way the riffs play off against one another, it really drives this along with intensity. Loved it, you can keep these coming!

You know the answer. Either a bigger pedalboard, or an additional pedalboard just for fuzz!!!!

Love the power in the thick guitar tones. Certainly creates the right atmosphere. Well written angry lyrics.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
