What started out as a tribute to mark the anniversary of John Lennon's sad demise morphed into more of a Rutles-style piece and a tribute to the great Neil Innes. Fitting either way hopefully.
I'm still working on the lyrics  ;)

you are a fanatastic acousitc guitar player.... everything was so clean...that is hard to do.. I have some new reference monitors in my home studio (Eris 3.5 by Presonus, not expensive but sound really good and supposedly very accurate)....and this piece sounds really good in them... I don't know why but this reminds me of Christmas time...perhaps its just that i hear alot of acoustic guitar this time of year....can't wait to hear the vocals and lyrics...

Nice playing and I particularly like the harmony leads. The recording quality is great - nice and clean. Great job; well done.

This is gorgeous. Definitely has a Beatle-esque vibe. There's a chord change in there that's pure Macca. Great playing and composition, and the recording is really good. I wish I could play like that!

I'm really grateful for all your feedback and inspired even more now to progress the lyrics. This week's personal goal is set!

You are a real good guitar player Johnny but I knew that already from listening to your other tunes. You make your acoustics sing and in harmony to boot! I'll look forward to hearing it again, from a fresh perspective, if you add vocals/lyrics to it. Meantime I'll listen to this fine acoustic instrumental again and again. Well done!

Brilliant! I'm a huge Bonzos/Innes/Rutles fan (I saw the Bonzos twice during their reunion years) and I get where you are coming from. Really great acoustic playing with some beautiful melodic twists in there. And like Steve said, it sounds superb, you really captured the acoustics brilliantly.

Looking forward to hearing it with some lyrics. You need to go full on Rutles methinks......

Frank53

Really nice piece of music, and very well played. A couple nice changes in the chord progression. Nice work!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Either way, surely - agree with Tim here's some beatles influence, that's to say a fresh, perfect song. I love it is just guitar and is already so complete, wonderful!
