That's it! Yesterday I received my 12-string Harley Benton, Rickenbacker look-alike.

I promised myself I'd do Mr. Tambourine Man "Byrds style 65".
I know this song so well that I did it in a couple of hours (I think it's the only song whose English lyrics I know almost entirely).

super guitar,...for the price

WONDERFUL!!! That Harley Benton is not only a look-alike but also sounds very much like the classic Rickenbacker. Very cool.

Really like your singing on this Jean Pierre. Very similar tone to McGuinn but w your delightful accent. Well done, my friend!

Thanks for listening!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Fantastique! Love the sound of the HB 12 string (congratulations) and your vocal harmonies.

I must confess I'm more familiar with the Byrds' version of the lyrics - these are the full Dylan lyrics, right?

I don't know...I was inspired by the live version of the Byrds in 1965 on TV.
in fact it seems to me that it's a shorter version...a verse is missing, isn't it?

The only way to sound like the Byrds is with that gorgeous 12-string jangle, but you've really nailed the feel of the guitar and the vocal. It's fantastic.

Brilliant job.

I know Dylan's original had lots of verses, so I guess the Byrds just picked and chose which ones to use depending on performance running time etc.

Glad you're enjoying the guitar. I've been using mine constantly - it's much more versatile (beyond jangly clean chords) than I would have imagined.

It's also my opinion  ...I haven't finished having fun with this guitar, even in another repertoire than Roger McGuinn.
