Trever's original acoustic version (lyrics on page below) inspired me so much I went nuts and filled in all the musical blanks my mind heard.

(original:) https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=30345.0

I added bass. drums, 2 piano tracks and melody/lead track. Tried very hard to locate panned instruments such that the fantastic vocal stayed predominately centered and contrasted from the instrumentation around it. (maybe too much so?)

Trever okayed this mix of his song so I'm quitting while ahead. 8)

Some pro producers out there are sure to offer some mastering tips I'm missing and they will be very welcome as I'm just a lucky hack that's always learning which is half the fun. ;D

My God, what a vocal! I was digging the extended intro and then that kicked in. I love the sound of the acoustic and the chord pattern. Reminded me of me, lol. This is sheer class. Beautifully arranged, performed and embellished. Great collab.

Absolutely marvelous stuff.  The mix sounds spot on to me through the laptop speakers and I will listen again later on better speakers.

Love it.

Great work. You did a fantastic job because the additions sound like they were always there. They really blend in seamlessly, which isn't easy. This really takes this one to another level, very well done indeed.

That's a truly great song you guys have created. I do love that acoustic guitar playing. What a lovely bit of riffing. Everything you have done with Trevor's base track works really great Ken. You have enhanced this, had my head bopping along to this. Super collab lads.
