Quite wonderful Mike. The synths sound fab and the drumming is really nice as well, subtle but effective and nicely in time. Your practice is paying off. I really liked the guitar work as well, it's subtle but adds a nice dimension to the synths. What's really special about this is the way you turned a noodle into a track and I think the vocals have a lot to do with this, they're really effective and the high parts are amazing, you did really well to hit and hold the notes.

The production is also very good. I'm listening on the Adams and it sounds fantastic. The synth bass is powerful and resonant but never boomy and everything else is really clear. It's beautifully atmospheric, I've had it looping for a while and just loved it. More like this please!!!

Oh, and I updated the instrumentation list for you:

Live drums, Roland TD9
live keys, poly D, SH201
Live guitar
Live singing
Live Screaming
Rather tight trousers

Am I only one feeling a Pink Floyd vibe? Not sure if that's what you were going for, but I am digging it sir! Nicely done!

Second the Pink Floyd vibe.  The vocal has a lot of room the breathe in the mix.  If you had this track and you were me, you would sit something else in here, and wreck it.

I really appreciate the simplicity and space that the driving drum and bass leaves for your vocal performance.

The way you have the repeated sub-vocal (Now hear me) turned out amazing.  VERY well done.

Sums up my feelings on Covid ... an  excellent emotional track vocal fits hand in glove with the music Bravo ????

I get the Joy Division vibe too. Really like that suppressed, chanted refrain in the background. But the whole thing is bloody fabulous. The fatness and resonance... delicious! That 'I'm screaming / now hear me', is a bloody massive hook. Massive! Oh yeah. It's killer.

Very cerebral.  Very relaxing in a strange way.  Sounds therapeutic, almost.   ???

This is probably my favourite track from you Mike.
Its got everything, great playing ,the angst, atmospheric brilliance.
Im noticing that what people on here are calling noodlings etc are far better than any of the stuff out there on the radio.
The people need to take the airwaves back and stuff that shit diwn the pan.
Excellent Mike,bloody excellent.
