for the psychedelic fest. Hilary ping'd me and asked if she could try "let it be" on the previously posted polyrythmic waltz. NP and said it could be anything she felt was a fit.

I don't know the original tune, however this is a sterling vocal performance, this really rocks.

Unfortunately, there were some track syncing issues when loading into the BR1600 - and the vocals seemed to have shifted  by about 60 bars, and continued after the music had ended. So, I've shifted it to where I think it should have been (correct me if I've got that wrong Hilary, and I will redo). I tried quite a few entry points, and this one seemed to work best. However the music is so arrhythmic, its not obvious where it should start and when it should not!!!
I also ran out of disk space half way through mastering! Anyway, I'm really pleased to get the vocals to sit in an already crowded mix, and the vocals are great.

Brilliant stuff. I don't know the original but this just sounds like it was meant to be. Now,  where's my bong?

No googling the song now but I've been singing it since I was 12 :D

(No it didn't come out in 1934!)

Thanks Bruno!

I have no idea what the original song is (and Google just confused me) but this is very cool and very psychedelic. I love the soundscape Bruno created, it's quite weird and wonderful and I love the percussion. More great vocals from Hilary and this was a fab listen. Really enjoyed it, well done for getting this together given the challenges.

Oh this is great. The backer is so lush and psychedelic (can hear echoes of The Cult's 'Sanctuary' in there too), and the vocal works like a beautiful stream of consciousness. Brilliant collaboration!
