Another song from "A Box of Frogs."

My wife tells me that Outcome Based is a buzz phrase used by management consultants and MBA types so I used this as a working title for the original backing track.

Trevor clearly did a bit of research and, as always, the content of his lyrics and his delivery is just perfect.  A disturbing mix of university lecturer and Big Brother.

I think we all need to assuage a blockage or two.

I know I do....

OUTCOME BASED
To some its the complexities of life, how they can disturb us in our everyday interactions with other people
Are we in control of our minds and souls or does fate and destiny have a hand in our insecurities, our anxieties, the mis-conceptions, our viewpoints on society, in our relationships.
Some say our focus should be on the impact of the support and care provided to a person, that, that is what affects a life.  Allowing a person to focus on their goals and priorities
now that has an outcome
That is out come based  based in practice.

Is what I think or what I do completing me
or
confusing you
I don't know
So tell me please
What can I do to improve me

Society must protect
Society must help
Society must be outcome based for
All  to achieve

Someone had a theory that a goal is all we need
By the end of all experience
a goal should be achieved
There is no specific style, or assessment that we are agreed
As long as the opportunities, should help everyone achieve

A focus on an  outcome, creates a clear expectation
For what is expected from the student, from the teachers application
Once the outcome has been decided, lets works backwards to find the Knowledge
Needed to unblock, that poor souls blockage

An assessment may be too mechanical
Looking to see only the knowledge
The ability to use and apply
will certainly assuage any blockage
Life, is not so simple
That one can read it from a book
One has to look
An apply the knowledge that's been took

All of of life is based on an outcome
so life must be outcome based

I hooked up some altec speakers this morning and put this on for a test run  what a great collab and the mix is outstanding I can hear everything that went into this first time I listened to the mix and instrument and the second time to the vocals and both were outstanding Bravo

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

This sounds like you two had a barrel-load of fun putting this one together. Yeah, 'outcome-based' typically sounds like some middle-management phrase that those MBA types like to flick around. The music track in this song is superlative and so well constructed/mixed. Well done, guys.

Outstanding production. Kept a smile on my face throughout.  Great collab - and those lyrics, just WOW!

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Wow - this is fantastic chaps. This would fit straight into an album like The Wall, although musically different, its in that vein.
The production on this is amazing, thats quite some bar to set.
Really, this scored as high as it gets in my book. Fab

You guys leveraged existing infrastructure and managed to pick the low hanging fruit, and ran it up the flag pole, and look, here I am saluting.

This was boss.  Great jam. Humorous and musical.

It would appear this song is about me as I spent 40 years in this kind of world  :( I even invented a buzzword phrase  :o Sorry 'bout that, but at least it gave you good subject matter for a song.... ;D It's all behind me now anyway.

Loved this, you grabbed me from the off with the superb synth riff, that's an absolute killer. It twists and turns in a superbly proggy way and Trev did a great job using these to his vocal advantage. The spoken word parts worked really well, and the lyrics are really good, they certainly hit home. It's very well mixed and produced and sounds great all the way through. Another fab piece of work from you two, you really work well together.

I need to know your invented phrase - my wife will see if she can drop into the next transformational meeting she has to attend, and it may even make a good song title if you haven't already used it.   :)

For full disclosure, my wife is an MBA, and the last few years of my working life was as a self employed management consultant - although road haulage and warehouse management is a bit too earthy to appreciate too many multi-syllabic words, let alone buzz-words.  My clients' view of outcome-based was "do it cheaper as long as we have a fair chance of getting away with it."   Fortunately, similar to you it is all behind me now.

Impressive on so many levels! Great, clean mix - The instrumentation...engaging! You've inspired me to step up my game ;)

Unfortunately I can relate to the buzzword life-style...I'm in middle management...Gotta keep the team inspired, lol!
