Thanks Satch and Nigel. Brother Bill only lives a couple hours away but trying to get together to record happens about twice a year ..if that. He started playing at age 10 and learned to sing early on as well. He played out for years but these days barely touches his guitars. He works on computers at work and thinks having one at home would remind him of work. He has no idea what he is missing and how much fun there is to be had on sites like this. I'll never quit pestering him to get one!

i can't remember. It was late in '04 as i recall. Probably went direct with an E/A guitar in to the Fostex Vf80 and used an "acoustic" patch. Seems alot of the stuff i did on that machine sounded compression heavy...but it was probably due to my ignorance and lack of experience. Bill's mic was probably an MXL 900 or an SM58.

Thanks lg...Old Neil is probably hard at work on something new that will drive his record company to drink. Jammin' with my brother is something i wish i could do more of. Gotta get that boy online!!

Man... this was a great interpretation of the song. I have a guitar buddy that loves to play this one. He's always trying to get me to sing it; however, I just don't have the range. You guys really nailed this one. The VOX are better than Mr. Young's (In my opinion). Good stuff, thanks for posting.
