I was watching a program on Netflix last night A social dillema well worth a watch gets you thinking in fact its quite disturbing if you have children its a must watch. I decided to write a song about it and it also gave me a chance to work out how to use the midi on the new Roland SPD 11 which was quite easy to sort out and a lot fun trying to play any way here it is thanks for listening.... I've taken the drums off for now but i will come back to it

Cool song. I'm curious though, what drum part used midi?  Sounds like the bass drum is rock solid and maybe you manually played the snare etc.?

I used one of those years ago and actually performed once with it in an outdoor "garden party" setting. Played all the parts live however. Right hand played the bass drum part and the left alternated between snare and cymbal if not mistaken. It's like rubbing your head while patting your stomach but can be learned.

I can actually play my Alesis Performance Pads with a bass pedal (electronic switch) and high hat arrangement...in fact I had made my own out of parts from work...  and I really had to learn to use my foot well to keep the beat...I was pretty good with my hands... then I got the Alesis Nitro and man that is sweet, both the high hat and the bass pedal...

Listening to this one through my studio grade cans, and dude, you have a great sounding voice.   I love this track and I totally love the lyrics also.

I watched it to Reggie, it was shocking wasn't it. Every breath on here is accessible to anyone with internet access and if all we ever get is praise for our efforts/posts then this too is our own bubble environment/false reality.

Anyway - I loved the funk and the delivery and the intelligence behind the lyrics.

Artificial Intelligence.  We're taught not to think anymore.  They're erasing our brains.  Scary.
Song tells it like it is.

This song was recommended to me based on my other choices....... ;)

Very cool concept, the vocal performance was the standout for me here. It's incredibly powerful and very well recorded. Nice guitar effect going on as well, nice work Trev.
