I've always liked the maj7 chords of the acoustic version.
Here is a good explanatory article about this song

I did 5 voice tracks, 6 guitar tracks, 1 bass track and 1 tambourine track on Reaper.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Brilliant JP, I love the layers of guitar, some fantastic sounds in there. Really nice vocals as well and some very clever bass as well. What a fabulous version!

What a great sound you got here JP. It was worth doing all those vocal tracks, it has that Beatle-esqe thing going on. Not familiar with the original, but this is great - lovely and mysterious and it's true those bass runs are great.

what is cool about this to me is how you have an acoustic vs electric conflict going on...almost like both are trying to take control and it is like a battle... that is neat... I kind of have seen you as an acoustic artist but there is this rocker in there too that is defiant and banging away to get out.... classy stuff... I don't know why because I know you speak french but your vocals make me think of latin style music....and I really like that...

thank you Mike and Stephen for your kind comments, ...but in which I recognize myself "Beatle-esque and "latin music" are my two roots ;)
