It's really just me playing a felt piano and adding some other ambient stuff. I think it will get expanded into a longer work.

I think it needs to be listened to with headphones to hear all the background ambient stuff going on.

Very nice, it sounds like Satie working with Eno, which is a brilliant thing in my book. A lovely piece that's well worth expanding.

Definitely expand this Warren.  Dead cool - but make it longer.  I'm always keen to know what kit you've used.  There are plenty of gear heads here who like to know what you've used.

Well the centerpiece of this is the felt piano called "Soft Piano" from Spitfire labs. And get this, it's free:

https://labs.spitfireaudio.com/

If you don't have it, grab it.  Grab every free thing on Spitfire labs.

I have a real acoustic grand piano (a 6 foot Mason and Hamlin) that I plan to learn how to sample properly, and do some "treated piano" sample libraries, like this spitfire labs one.

The synth pads are my own creations atop the Arturia VCollection, heavily processed through the Native Instruments RAUM reverb, and the stock convolution reverbs from Cubase, my main daw.

I absolutely love Satie and I love  Alexandra Stréliski, a Canadian pianist of much more skill than me.  I am actually about a Grade 1 conservatory level pianist.  I am about 0.00001% of the pianist of say, a Glen Gould.   The final piece in my grade 1 piano adult book was a simplified Fur Elise, which is my current best showpiece.

Learning Piano, and Guitar, along with songwriting are my passions.
