The News From Nowhere - a Tworegs and chapperz original

This is probably one of the most ambitious pieces of music I have ever been involved in.  I originally wrote the basic music as a strummed acoustic guitar piece probably 10 years ago, and started to record the keyboard parts in 2017.  The News From Nowhere came into my head as a title, but I then parked it as it needed vocals - which is not me.  The magic ingredient required was Trevor who stirred it up and sent me this vocal.  This fired me up so I added loads, changed loads and mixed it - several times.  We are very pleased with it and I hope you like it.

Great piece of prog rock and excellent production. The instrumentation/orchestration is stellar and the lyrics are so true too. I could imagine this in a rock opera or something like that. Great work, you two; well done.

I agree with Flash, this is an epic song and production! Great, dramatic vocal and lyric Regs and Paul I can hear the amount of time that went into the music and production. This must have been a fun, chore to mix this. This could fit easily on Meatloaf's album, Bat Out of Hell album...it's that good (a compliment). Bravo!

Paul / Trevor this is bloody brilliant. This is the second (I think) I have heard from you guys. Your two styles seem perfect for each other. Paul your arrangements demand something quirky vocal wise I think and Trev you add a great style to the mixing pot. Super stuff.
