A beautiful and somber piece, Nick.

I must confess I hadn't heard of the Aberfan disaster before this, but I was still a pre-schooler and in the USA at the time. My heart goes out to the victims, and for those who remember the day.

A really powerful tribute Nick... every note seems to carry a lot of meaning.

I don't remember the event, but I was watching the series the Crown on Netflix and one episode was dedicated entirely to the tragedy. Terribly sad. Again like has been said, it's hard to find the right words, but a very moving piece.
