This started out as a beautiful Maxit chord progression on piano and acoustic guitar to which Kenny added electric guitars, bass and vocals.  I faffed about with the arrangement, adding some orchestration and topping and tailing it with a faux classical part.

The aim with this song was to try and invoke some of the feel of Burt Bacharac, and while it doesn't meet the brief for the BB fest, hopefully we captured just a little hint of his style.

I think paul made an excellent job on the strings on this.
And also the mixing
And Maxits  invitation to collaborate again was as usual an exciting prospect.
It always takes you on an unfamiliar path sometime s its good to travel out of your comfort zone.

You certainly achieved your goal of emulating the Bacharach style - the progression, arrangement, and lyrics. Great use of strings here. Very good song, well put together. Nice collab!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Have listened to this a few times throughout the day I thought I'd already commented ...dreamy keys & strings work great with Kennys delicate vocal its a winner....mission accomplished its definite Bacharach style....Watch out the Bacharach boys are in town   :D
