Chrome and leather engine hot
One gear stripped lights are shot
So damn tired an' I gotta be honest
Wouldn't ride so fast; just on a promise
Bike is roaring heads are turning
Grips are sweaty; seat is burning
Road's a death trap do or die
Riding this Harley across the sky

Comin' home; comin' home fast
We gonna love long time; gonna make it last
No wham bam, mama; no hit and run
You got the target I got the gun
Cops have given up; left them behind
Rock n Roll bump an' grind
Belly's tight grit in my eye
Riding this Harley across the sky

So here I am God damn and blast
Stuck on the roadside out of gas
Passion's dead; back is bowed
Pushing this Harley along the road

Absolutely wonderful Ray... some super guitar picking in there, but the winner is the song. Deserving of a wider audience... this would tear the house down played live.

Ha ha I love the lyric Ray! I had a Harley in my younger days and your description of the Harley in the song wasn't far off from mine. Some fine chickin' pickin' on the guitar.  A great listen and fun song...send it off to Nashville!

Great tune, Ray! Pretty pickin' and the lyrics are a lit of fun.
Really well written and performed.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Some realy fine picking going on here, Ray.  And you're not so bad on the old mouth organ either!  Great song.

I always preferred four wheels myself.
