buzzing bees..... i've got a bees nest, a bees nest, buzzion, buzzin inside of me, I've gotta bees nest
I jump around, I make a lot of sound, I jump around... Ima punk...Ima punk  .... Ima punk who used to get drunk... now I act like a drunk that's sober... Ima little punk, and I've battled when I'm drunk,  Ima little punk, I used to too often get drunk... and I would hear voices in my head, they told  me stuff about my friend Fred... Ima big punk... now I don't get drunk... instead I run, I run til I buzz..... buzz buzzz buzzz...like bees inside of me...like bees inside of me... i buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz endorphins like a bee inside of me.. I run yeah....I've gotta bees nest inside of me....bees nest
I tried to be good, but I didn't get far, I wasn't bad. I was just a punk...
One time an aquaintance of mine. locked me in a trunk...his name was Fred!

This is me attempting to sound like Rush...ha ha... I had decided to try something more like Rush would do when I started with the guitar and this is where I end up?  Damn, next time I'm going for the B-52s... well, I can neither confirm nor deny that this is autobiographical... I played the bass with a pick which I almost never do...  The lyrics are just kind of spontaneous me (like you can't tell?) .... .. and the drums are anned...off my Alesis...first time I have done that.

Great idea for a song , wish i could still run but never mind , i enjoyed your song and the words you have written to go with it, you music and vocals are very well recorded and performed , i love the "pleck dives" on the strings great stuff , the should be more "pleck dives " in the world IMO , good stuff Steven

Loving this one Steve. Really intriguing mix of styles and some fun lyrics. You've got a busy Geddy Lee like bass, which sounds great, but the song does go a bit more straight up punk-y new wavy, very much in line with the lyrics. I really like the concept for the song and you pulled it off really well.

And all the best bass players use a pick. Fact.
