It seems Reggie has taken a bad drinking spell which has led him down a month long binge... now he was picked off the floor and carried away to the hospital where it quickly became apparent that drastic measures would need to be taken to spare his life.  During the early stages of recovery, as he was coming from his coma, he became delirious and was hearing songs that he had been involved with making and recording before his life had fallen apart.  He started to alarm the nurses where they assure him that the "calling mr. smith, calling mr. smith" he had heard was real and that it was over the hospital intercom.
A hospital janitor who was gifted as a clairvoyant was drawn one shift toward Reggies room by the sound of a harmonica playing and it was there the worker discovered the source of his nightmares.  He had been able to discern Reggies thoughts and dreams ever since he had cleaned his room a few days previous.  Now, the janitor knew that to get rid of these bad dreams and thoughts he would have to help Reggie recover and leave the hospital whole, else he should forever be plagued with Reggies mind.
weird...

This is a long song:  9 minutes.  It is taken from 7 of Thetworegs songs "It's All Gone", Another One Falls", "I Want You", "My Pearl", "Funky Heart Problems", "The Dreamer", and "Summertime".  Well...this was actually alot of fun putting this together and I didn't know if Trevor would like it or not....but I made this collage of some of his music and sent it to him along with the story idea and he liked it and said I could post it.  Here it is.  Honestly, I think down the road i could something like a whole album of collages of Reggies (Trevor)  with out ever using anything twice... he has so much material...  When i first came on SC I didn't really notice THETWOREG'S for a while...and then WHAM!  Big personality with alot of creativity..... I don't know how he can work so fast honestly.... if you have read this far I might as well say a little more about the song.  This music is quite serious but there are some very humorous moments in them as well and especially when you collage them... as in around 8:00 min there is a very serious piece playing in the front from "The Dreamer" and then this ridiculously funny background voice says "Fish are jumpin......and the cotton is high".... cracks me up every time... to me it is so funny.... and worth listening to from the start...  In closing I was playing this in the car the other day and my 15 year old son started laughing his head off... he actually likes alot of the SC music I play...that is quite a feat...also the harmonica is placed into the main parts from "the dreamer"....I thought it fits well..

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

I love the idea of it all - you should do your own rock opera.

I do recognise some of these tunes from previous listening... these collages are interesting... they do have that dreamy quality, even a bit psychadelic. Be interesting to listen to if you were to indulge in a bit of the whacky backy at the same time (sadly I don't any more, those days long gone!). But yeah cool stuff...
