It's vulnerable and personal, and it has a lot of "hooks" to hang your hat onto, and connect with the song.  Each of us thinks from time to time about the years going by, and I hope for most of us, there's a sense that there's grace and pleasant surprises, along with the requisite amount of randomness, struggle, or misfortune.

Ooh I missed this while I was moving house. Glad I heard it now, it really is a beautiful track. Lovely piano backer and great vocal additions from Trev. Fantastic storytelling and real emotions in the lyrics that work so well with the backer. Sublime.

This is a beautiful piano and strings song that Kari and Topi posted up for a vocal/lyric collaboration. I thought about giving it a go but now that I've heard Trevor's take there's no need because he did it perfectly and made a good song even better. As the lyric suggests, sometimes life does do a turn about for the better. Well done all!
